Amazing Things Are Happening...

December is such a magical month. :)
FIRST OF ALL, my favorite artist in the entire world just released.... A VINYL.
Jim Houser+Vinyl=Christmas came early this year for Miss Mae. <3

It's a 10" vinyl & 16 page booklet of his installations, paintings, etc.
I DIE.
And if you do too, here's where you can grab one. :)

Another beautiful December surprise is "December" by Sleeping At Last

In case you haven't heard, Sleeping At Last is doing a project called "Yearbook" in which they intend to write, record, produce, and release THREE SONGS per month for a year. These little baby EP's are so beautiful, and the album art is as lovely as always. I think October is my favorite so far... :) But November and December are equally great.

They are only $3 a piece, and if you'd like one, you can get them here. :)

I was quite the early bird this year, and got all of my Christmas shopping done before the first of December. Oh, except for my Dad, who is extremely hard to buy for. I'll have to keep thinking about that one... :)

Hope your December is bringing magical things...

5 Things

...in lieu of the holidays. :)

1.) Vitamin C. Lots of it. All the time. Everyday.
I have been sick with a flu/cold/sniffly mess for over a week now.

2. Black and white, film noir, and lots of Audrey. For some reason the holidays cause a huge longing in me to watch old cinema. These are the prettiest... sigh.

3.) Gorgeous holiday decor. There's so much out there right now. It's lovely.

4.) Pretty holiday dresses. :) I've got an Interior Design Expo and a wedding to shop for soon soon. These steal my heart, although they aren't at all realistic. A girl can dream...

5.) And I have a feeling I'll be re-reading this again during Christmas break....

Style Crush

An old favorite: Edie Sedgwick

(The one of her looking up at Andy is so magical)

I've loved Edie's style since middle school.. ha.
The big lashes, mini dresses, black tights and leotards... I die.
Makes me want to re-watch my copy of Factory Girl for the thousandth time.. ha.

Hope your weekend is pretty and inspiring

5 Things

...that caught my eye this week.

1.) Was watching ANTM re-runs, and this pretty lady was teaching the models burlesque. Dita has the most incredible style, and she's always been a little girl crush of mine. :)

2.) Need this in my mouth, now. So pretty.

3.) Beautiful domes, and Euro architecture. A constant reminder of my need to visit Italy, France, and England.

4.) Coolest laptop case I have seen in a while...

5.) The cutest little house.

Hope you're having a lovely week. :)

Best Halloween Ever

Tank Girl+Tron Horse=Mega Mega Love

My lovely boy made me this gun! He stayed up nearly all night working on it. :)
And I'm pretty sure I squealed a little when he gave it to me. The sweetest.
AND he made me dinner. Sghetti & Meatballs, YUM!
Was nice to spend my favorite holiday with my favorite boy.
